Gulyabani Çicek

Born in the southern arm of Emmel, Gulyabani is an astronomer by day and a thief by night. By day they study stellar light to find planets that are favorable for photosynthesis. By night they breed forgotten flowers. Gulya has the largest collection of seeds in all of Mintak and has been trying to coax various extinct species back to life. Yes, most of their collection is stolen, but flowers are meant to be seen, meant to be loved and desired. They are not meant to be hidden in dark drawers and traded amongst the rich, who don’t know or care enough to share their beauty with the world. Stealing seeds from the wealthy doesn't rob the world of anything, Gulya tells themselves. Plus, they have their eye on a distant planet with favorable light, which could change everything.
